The Canon LBP-7010 Series of color printers was introduced in 2011, with the i-SENSYS LBP-7010c and 7018c models being sold in Europe, the imageCLASS LBP-7010c, LBP-7016c and 7018c in South Asia and Australia/New Zealand and the Satera LBP-7010c, LBP-7016c and 7018c models in Japan, South Asia and Australia/New Zealand.

All are host-based, with print speeds OEM rated at 16 pages per minute (ppm) for black and 4 ppm for color, and an average monthly duty cycle rating of 15,000 pages for all models.

All models are similar in appearance, but with the LBP-710c models having a white outer casing, where the LBP-7016c and 7018c models’ casings are black.

All models in the series utilize four toner cartridges and one drum unit. Each printer ships with lower yielding starter cartridges (550 pages for black and 500 pages each color), with replacements available in 1,200 pages for black and 1,000 pages for each color. A new chip is required on each cartridge for correct printer operation.
